Sunday Mornings

Ocean Floor Worship - We recognize that worshiping our one true God is important. In Ocean Floor Worship, children learn how to worship our Savior with upbeat music, offering, and Children Sermons. Come worship like a kid with us! Sunday School- Sunday School is where children are taught age appropriate Bible lessons through scripture reading, crafts, and drama. The foundation of a child’s biblical learning is formed each Sunday morning with knowledgeable teachers who love and care for your child and his or her spiritual development.

Sunday Nights - “The Zone”

Elevate - Your Kindergarten through 2nd graders will love Elevate. Combining DVD whole group lessons with interactive small group lessons your child will go on a biblical adventure through various themes helping them apply Bible concepts to their daily lives. Bible Skills Drills and Thrills - 3rd – 5th graders will learn how to use God’s words starting with the books of the bible. By learning the names and locations of the books of the bible your child will be able to utilize the greatest weapon we have against temptation and sin, The BIBLE!!!

Wednesday Nights

Jesus Jammers - Kidz Choir meets after school on Wednesdays from 3:30pm until 4:45pm. They will practice songs to sing in adult church as well as learn Christmas and Easter musicals. If your child is in 1st through 5th grade we would love for them to join us, in fact we will even pick them up from school on Wednesday afternoons so you do not have to worry about getting them to the church. Kidz Meals - If your child participates in Jesus Jammers they are welcome to stay with us until the end of GI Kidz. If they do you can purchase dinner for them for a minimal fee and we will provide dinner for them in between Jesus Jammers and GI Kidz. Contact Rob or Kevin for current prices or if you have any other questions.

Hang Time - We know kids need to get energy out and just “hang” so we built that into our Wednesday nights. Come play the Wii, board games, finish up homework or just hang with some friends as we enjoy each others company.

Global Impact Kidz (GI Kidz for short) - Join us on Wednesday nights for Mission Zone. During our mission focus children kindergarten through 5th grade are taught about missions and missionaries all over the world. Kids will also participate in various mission projects throughout the school year. These projects have included coat drives, water bottle collection, nursing home visits, and many more exciting adventures. Invite a friend to learn about how God’s word is shared throughout the world.

Additional Children's Ministry Fun

Summer Camp - Chapel Hill Baptist Church Summer Day Camp is a child care program for kidz that have completed kindergarten through completing 5th grade open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday – Friday, following the school calendar.  Campers are broken up into three groups according to age (yellow K-1, green 2-3, and blue 4-5) for all activities.  Each morning we begin with announcements followed by 30 minutes of praise and worship and 30 minutes of Bible study.  We will have different activities planned for each day of the week that including off campus field trips on Wednesdays and Fridays and a pool day at Bowers park on Tuesdays.  Registration begins in March. Be on the lookout for registration information in the spring.

Vacation Bible School - VBS is one of our largest children’s outreaches. VBS is held one week every year during the summer months. No more cookies and juice, our VBS is action packed and full of excitement. Check back here for more information on how you can volunteer with VBS or sign up to participate in late spring.

New Christian Kidz - The New Christian Kidz class is a four week session for any child who has expressed interest in learning more about having a personal relationship with the Lord. This class teaches about salvation, baptism, Lords Supper, being part of the church, and growing as a child of God. These classes will run quarterly. Watch for a sign-up sheet at the Kidz Welcome Center.
